If there is ever an official sequel to Digimon's Dusk and Dawn, I want the MC to meet the original navigator digimon, but they've digivolved, so mainly veteran players and fans who know their digimon lore can probably notice.
Like maybe a Porcupamon/Astamon and an Angewomon/Holydramon are the first to greet you and give you a short tour or tutorial in the game intro or functions as a sorta deuteragonist throughout the game.

very late on this but it's so funny that the DLC missions with Sayo in Cyber Sleuth states that Sayo beat the Seven Demon Lords with only Dianamon, implying she's such an epic gamer™ that she beat seven superbosses with one (1) Digimon who by game mechanics has low defense and is also at a type disadvantage against all of them
